Our Story Dr. Shizan Pervez CONSULTANT, RADIATION ONCOLOGY Department: Radiation Oncology Qualification: MBBS, MD (Radiation Oncology) Services Offered Radiotherapy techniques like IMRT/VMAT, Image guided Brachytherapy, PET based planning, 4DCT based planning (DIBH), Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS)/SBRT, treatment and management of all types of malignancies Experience Dr. Shizan has completed his MBBS and Internship training from premier Government Medical college in Maharashtra. He completed his Masters from the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. There he received extensive training in the use of Advanced High Precise Radiotherapy techniques like Rapidarc, IMRT/VMAT/IGRT, 4DCT based planning, Deep Inspiration Breath hold (DIBH) technique used for Cardiac sparing. He Worked as Senior Resident in Tata hospital and has good experience of working on all types of Linear Accelerators specially Truebeam, Tomotherapy, Novalis and Trilogy. He has adequate exposure to Treatment planning systems like Eclipse, Oncentra, and Brain Lab. He has worked as a fellow in Breast Radiation Oncology unit at Tata Memorial hospital. He has special interest in Brain tumours especially Pediatric tumours, Brachytherapy, Particle based Radiotherapy and Bone Soft tissue tumours.
